Discipling As a Body Working Together (Feb 2005)

Price: $6.00
Item Number: 1-1102CD
In this teaching, Karen Theisen examines the role of the whole Body of Christ in the discipling process, highlighting the interaction of the "gift ministries" listed in Ephesians 4:11. The Apostle Paul is featured as a discipler who also needed discipling in the record of his fateful decision to go to Jerusalem, and the many ways that the Lord worked via the Body of Christ are identified. Mark Graeser then adds some more insight into the Ephesians 4 passage showing that all the ministries share the same goals: empowerment of the saints for the work of the ministry and raising them up to full maturity in Christ. This can only happen if the ministries are able to work together to provide the whole ministry of Christ, and this is set forth as a large part of the vision of Spirit & Truth Fellowship International.
